Supportive. Trauma-Informed. EMDR-Integrated.

Grow your clinical skills and confidence in a space that is safe and
honors your strengths and passions as a social worker.

Why choose Angie as your clinical supervisor?
-
She gets trauma work. She's a certified EMDR therapist & an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Consultant-in-Training, with extensive experience working with clients wanting to heal from trauma. She brings a strong trauma-lens to supervision to help you build these skills in your work with clients.
-
She can integrate EMDR. If you’re EMDR trained or interested in EMDR, I’ll help you apply it in a thoughtful, ethical, and grounded way. (And yes - if you’re pursuing EMDR Certification, some supervision hours may count toward your consultation hours.)
-
She incorporates attachment science. As social workers, we get the importance of human relationships. Whether you are working with individuals, couples, families, or groups, relationships will have an impact on your clients' lives. With advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Angie can help you decode your clients' relationship struggles and get to the underlying issues driving the conflict or detachment.
-
She'll prepare you for independent practice. Whether you plan to be your own boss one day or not, you will finish supervision with the skills needed to work independently with confidence. And you'll have resources and support to rely on when you encounter dilemmas even after you earn your clinical license.
-
She'll help you build your clinical identity. Supervision with Angie will cover clinical skills, ethical dilemmas, nervous system regulation, transference and countertransference, boundaries, and all the messy, beautiful parts of being a therapist. You'll have an opportunity to discover your niche and deepen your practice with integrity and heart.

This might be a good fit for you if you're:
